EPA Global was founded in 2014 by Nishant Maroo with a belief that has never changed: where you were born should not limit where you can go. Everyone who dreams of studying or building a life abroad deserves access to expert, honest guidance - regardless of which country they are starting from.
Nishant entered the international education and migration industry in 2006, working across Australia, South Asia and the Middle East. Over the years, he saw the same problem repeat itself: life-changing decisions made on incomplete information, rushed advice, or no guidance at all. In 2014, he founded EPA Global to be the consultancy the industry was missing - MARA-registered, genuinely client-first, and committed to staying with every client until they were truly settled in the life they came to build.
The following decade brought growth across continents. EPA Global expanded from a single Sydney office into a network spanning Australia, India, UAE, Nepal, Pakistan and the Philippines, with resident representatives in Bangladesh, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. The partner university network grew past 100 institutions across 13 countries. The service offering broadened from Australian student visas to a full suite of skilled migration, employer-sponsored, family and global education consultancy services.
In 2026, EPA Global sharpened its direction - investing in systems, structure and people to match its ambitions. The same purpose that opened the first office still drives every case today: we guide people to better lives. And we stay until they get there.

I started EPA Global because I had spent years watching people make the most important decisions of their lives with the wrong information – or no guidance at all.
I entered this industry in 2006. By the time I founded EPA in 2014, I had seen too many visa refusals that should never have happened, too many students placed in the wrong university for the wrong reasons, and too many families misled by agents who were not qualified – or simply did not care enough to stay involved after the fee was paid.
EPA Global was built on a different conviction: that getting someone to their destination is only half the job. The real work is making sure they are truly settled in the life they came to build. That is what we stay for.
We are MARA-registered because our clients deserve the legal protection of working with a qualified, accountable agent. We are ICEF-accredited because quality should be independently verified, not self-declared. And we are present across South Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia because the journey deserves proper support at every stage – not just in the first few weeks.
